Cookie Policy
What we use, why, and how to change your mind. Last updated October 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies, and similar technologies such as browser storage, are small pieces of information a website saves on your device. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us measure our advertising and see how the site is used.
Our approach
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. Nothing non-essential runs until you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, it never loads. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
What we use
Essential
- oakwood-consent (stored in your browser): remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we do not ask on every page. Kept until you clear your browser data.
- Brochure, enquiry and viewing forms (Venue Flow, on the LeadConnector platform): these forms may set cookies needed for them to work and to protect against spam when you use them.
Advertising and measurement (only if you accept)
- Meta Pixel (_fbp and related cookies, set by Meta): helps us see which of our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead couples to our website and enquiries, and show our adverts to people likely to be interested. Kept for up to 90 days.
- Google Analytics (_ga cookies): not in use at the moment. If we add it, it will only load if you accept, and this page will be updated.
Other services
Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them but does not set cookies. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps take you to those sites, which have their own cookie policies.
Managing cookies
As well as the Cookie settings link, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the forms, may then work less smoothly.
